Pool Opening Checklist!

☐ To open a swimming pool, start by removing the cover carefully to avoid any debris falling into the water.

☐ Then, clean the cover and fold it before storing it in a dry place.

☐ Use a skimmer net to remove any leaves, twigs, or insects floating in the water.

☐ Add your Open Kit & Shock with at least 1 Bag per 10,000 gallons to prevent the growth of algae.

☐ Check the water balance and adjust it if necessary after a day or two. Usually best to bring us some water to get the water stabilized.

☐ Run the pump and filter system to circulate and clean the water.

☐ Once the water is clear, you can use a pool vacuum to clean the bottom and walls of the pool.

☐ Finally, check the water level and add more water if needed.
